Darren Taylor heads up an experienced team of butchers who are proud to supply top quality meat including local beef, Cotswold lamb, Gloucestershire Old Spot, dry cured bacon and a range of sausages made up on the premises.
Taylor’s staff can tell you where the meat you are buying has been sourced – usually from smaller farms in the Cheltenham and Gloucester area including ‘Adam’s Farm’ as seen on BBC One’s ‘Countryfile’.

They source meat locally as much as possible. Because they buy a lot of carcass meat, utilizing every part of the animal, they are able to offer cuts often not available in supermarkets – things like brisket on the bone, rolled brisket, flat rib and shin of beef. They make up a variety of pies, salt beef, use bones for stock and sell beef and pork dripping.
Taylors sells free-range and farm assured meat as well as free-range and barn eggs.
